AEGEAN SHAPES by the Round Button
| the designer
Alexandra Papadimouli is a professional independent graphic designer and blogger, based in Athens, Greece. Through her blog she tries to promote minimal design to the greeks. If she had to invent a personal style, that would be Scandinavian-Greek: a combination of clean forms and practical beauty.
When she met her husband, she fell in love both with him and his birth place, the island of Tinos. They visit the island in every chance they get and they hope to live there one day, at the traditional village of Agapi ( agapi means love in greek ). In her latest work which is inspired by the Aegean, she created designs that will work as souvenirs and give minimalistic aesthetics on a wall as well.

Designs are inspired by architectural & natural elements of the Aegean islands. Minimalist decorating items with versatile designs that can decorate different rooms and spaces. A collection of designs for people who love simple lines and fell in love with the simple beauty of the Greek islands. Materials and packaging are carefully selected in order to add value to the final product.
...the first destination that inspired me were the Cyclades islands, while Crete and the Dodecanese are to follow. Custom orders & collaborations are always welcome. Each of the designs has a story behind it: a shape and its origin, a form and its function, a hidden feeling waiting to be discovered. Every design is made with love, so you can place Aegean on your wall!...
